FlexiFreeze Ice Vest has been designed to provide a snug fit for everyone from XS to 6XX
We recommend extra panel sets to insure frozen panels are readily available to switch out
Place all of the panel sets into the freezer to freeze solid. Make sure there is good airflow. It may take a day or two to get everything frozen solid the first time setting up.
Place next to the freezer to change out panel sets
ICE PANELS MUST BE FROZEN SOLID BEFORE USE
Ice panels must be placed into freezer 12 to 24 hours before use.
Approximately no more than 15 panel sets per 5 cubic ft freezer. Spreading out panels and not overcrowding helps with water freezing more efficiently.
Proper Fitting is Crucial for an Effective Test
One DRY layer of clothing on body(cotton undershirt)
Ask a coworker to assist in fitting. The Vest will only need to be fitted the FIRST time it is worn. Proper fit is CRUICIAL to the vest’s cooling efficiency.
Attach ice panels via corresponding Velcro Strips.
Adjust draw strings, elastic cord, and shoulder straps to the largest setting.
Put on vest and zip to close.
Use elastic cords located on left and right side to pull the vest snugly against body.
Adjust Velcro shoulder straps to make sure vest fits evenly from top to bottom and touches small of back.
